Professional A versatile business and operations manager with a strong aptitude for computers, I have developed my skills through over 20 years of work experience. For the past 5 years, I’ve had the prestigious position of Yield Manager for Southern California with Hertz Corporation. My ten years prior work experience with Budget Group Incorporated, found me residing as a Distribution Manager, charged with fleet distribution for the Los Angeles basin. Prior to my appointment to Distribution Manager, I had spent two years creating and managing the national Emergency Roadside Care department. Before that, I spent a year as a Distribution Supervisor. These advancements came after spending 4 years as a Lead Customer Service Representative, at several of the local Orange County branches. My first office job was with Courtyard by Marriott as a Reservations Agent, where I was quickly promoted to a Reservations Trainer and then again promoted to Yield Manager, where I was responsible for 15 properties across the United States. The first day I was eligible to work as minor, I took a part time job as a Masonry Assistant with a friend of the family who owned and operated Champion Masonry Materials in Buena Park, California. Even though it was just yard maintenance, forklift, tractor, and hand loading supplies, I learned a lot about responsibility, customer service, and cohabitation with coworkers. Personal I was born in Orange County, CA in 1971. I lived in the inland rural areas of southern California during my childhood, which granted me the benefit of roaming the country side. I moved back to Orange County at the age of 14 and attended Fountain Valley High School, where I maintained a 3.0 GPA and had an active interest in photography, video production, and business mathematics. I was also on both the Yearbook and Video Yearbook staff. After high school, I attended a few individual classes at a local junior college, but choose to focus on my career instead. At 25 years old, I met, and after a whirlwind romance, married my loving wife in 1997. She, already having a son, provided me with an instant family. That same year, our daughter Sarah was born. Then, 14 months later, our daughter Emily was born in 1998. After the birth of my youngest daughter, my wife decided to pursue her education in the medical field. Over the next five years, I supported the family while my wife completed two AA’s, her Licensed Vocational Nursing degree, and finally, her Registered Nursing degree. In general, I enjoy time with my family, web design, photography, movies, and strategy games. |
